Around-the-clock recording keeps every second from the cameras you choose for 30 days, in the camera's lower-quality second stream (up to 300 kbps), so it survives the box at home being taken.

Alerts. Sent to your phone through Apple's push service. The words are locked; only your devices can read them.
Live video, when you watch from outside. Passes through our relay while you watch. Nothing of it is kept.
Around the clock, on a 24/7 plan. Everything the cameras you choose see, in the camera's lower-quality stream. Kept 30 days.
Your account. Your Sign in with Apple ID, your devices, who is in your household, and your subscription. Hide My Email works.
Locked before it leaves
Clips, stills, alerts and live video are encrypted on your own devices, with keys only your devices hold. We store and pass on what we cannot open — not the pictures, not the sound, not what was recognised. It is all kept in the EU, with Cloudflare.

When something happened, how big each clip is, which alerts were urgent, which devices are yours, how many people share your home, and the internet address your devices connect from. The service cannot run without these. We don't sell them or use them for anything else.
Never a picture, a sound, a camera's name, what was recognised, or a camera's password.
When Cloud ends
Stop paying and Vantan carries on as it was before Cloud: at home, sending nothing. What Cloud holds for your home is deleted 60 days after it ends — starred clips too — so if you come back within that time, it is all still there. Delete your account in the app and it goes at once.
